Brett Kemp ~ General Contractor

Over the past 10 years in the construction industry, Brett Kemp, has been involved with projects as large as
$1 million dollars and as small as a minor home improvement project. With a degree in business management and hands on field experience he has the skills and integrity to effectively manage any size construction project. With a passion for residential construction homes, Brett is committed to building elite custom homes with personal and one of a kind design.

• 2001-2007                       Site Management /Builder Obsidian Builders- Bend, OR
• Supervised crews of up to 15 master carpenters, journeymen, drywall hangers, foundation and general labor personnel.
• Estimated project cost, performed take-offs and developed project proposals working directly with General Contractor.
• Managed daily project completion and trades coordination of residential and commercial building projects valued up to 2 million.

• Studying and understanding the plans of client or arrange the drawing of plan to meet the regulations of building.
• Arranging submission of plans to local authorities for arranging and approving inspections of building work.
• Submitting the tenders, prices or quotes to the clients for the project
• Estimating the quantities of material required for building the projects and ordering these from building suppliers or advertises for tender.
• Arranging and managing subcontractors to carry out every step of building and negotiation rates of pay.
• Supervising subcontractors work to ensure buildings are of an acceptable standard and are completing according to schedule
• Organizing the delivery times of materials to match with various stages of building process.
• Communication with financial institutions and lawyers on the issues relating to contracts loans for building projects.
• Coordinating the activities of office staff included in the payment and preparation of accounts.
• Undertaking of the custom building work and design personally.
